Yeah, there must be some really good baseball conversation in that town, or really bad baseball conversation!

1st MLB team in Georgia (or any state that borders Georgia). 4 of the 5 bordering states still don't have an MLB team.
And TBS. It used to be, until FSN came along, that all Braves games were on TBS and broadcast over the open airwaves. Then FSN came along and Fox Sports South got about half of the games. Every now and then Turner South will show one as well. There are tons of Braves fans here in FL, and until the Marlins and D-rays they were the only team. And blackout rules for the Braves don't apply here in FL.

Same here in Alabama. This is Braves country as well...

It isn't too surprising about Atlanta. I would venture that the south is dominated by Cardinals and Braves fans, and our very own Colby Rasmus grew up wanting to be Andruw Jones.

Kennett - KTMO-FM 106.5
I might be the only one here who is stunned that there's a station located in Kennett Friggin Missouri. I wasn't sure if there was anything in Kennett.

Except for FL, which many don't consider the south anyway. There are tons of Yankees and Mets fans here. After the '04 WS the Red Sox fans came out like a plague of locusts.

I am always amazed at how many Cardinal fans turnout at the Braves games.

I wouldn't say I'm stunned to see that. Afterall, Cards fans in rural Missouri are as rabid if not moreso than those in larger areas.

Kennett is like the southernmost point of Cards Nation in the state, as well.

Sure, but Kennett defines northeast, south and southeastern Missouri: nothingness. I was at the Lake a few years ago and the Cardinals were very faint. I just figure if they aren't booming in a major place like that, then sure as heck won't be picking up in obscure towns scattered over the state.

Although my towns are obscure and on that list, but they are also 45 minutes from STL.

I hear you (like that pun?).

And, I guess that's one of the reasons behind my rationale.

Poeple in the bootheel probably cannot pick up weaker airwaves out of Cape Girardeau or Poplar Bluff.
