I've officially benched Rolen in favor of Youkills. I figure it's a win-win. If Rolen continues to suck, I've made the right choice for my fantasy team, if he plays great, at least my Cardinals will benefit.

Actually I don't think a second baseman would be totally necessary, b/c I think Phillips could cover, but like I said I would need an elite player back I have plenty of tier two outfielders and would like one that can flat rake (Manny?).

It might be easier to work a deal without one of my 2nd baseman involved.

I'll have to think about that last one for awhile, stldogget.

I don't think I've ever seen a more balanced trade, value for value, with names that big involved.

Here's the trade... I'm Chris Duncan's Chew. Stldogget05 is Jackalopes.

It's a very, very even trade that could really help both teams. We're right next to each other in the standings, too, so we'll be able to see who got the best end of this one at the end of the season.

Nod of the cap to Jackalopes for having the balls to push for a blockbuster.

yeah, I saw that when I logged on this evening and thought "well, there's something you don't see everyday: a relatively even trade".

I'm waiting for all my guys to be hot at the same time and stop getting freaking hurt.

At least I got Butler.

That's what I call a blockbuster deal.

Utley and Peavy are the better combination. Peavy's heads and shoulders above Lackey and one thing the Yahoo rating system doesn't factor in his positional scarcity. Pound for pound Reyes is a better fantasy player but Utley provides more value as a secondbasemen. Contrary to popular belief, shortstops that can hit are relatively easy to find in fantasyland these days. Secondbase, not so much.
