Detroit could and should've gotten whistled at both ends of the last 2 possessions, and even with that the Cavs had a wide open look for the win, just like Game 1. Crimeny Hughes, you're getting paid millions of dollars, it's under 10 feet, UNGUARDED.
I don't think you can whistle Hamilton on that last call. Lebron was out of control, and initiating the contact. He simply didn't do a good job of creating shot for himself.
You might be the only person who didn't think that was a foul. Like Dan said, Hamilton was draped all over him, and LeBron pulled up and wasn't leaning forward into the shot so he didn't initiate contact. It was very nearly a literal "no blood, no foul" situation with LeBron in those two games.

Yeah........ there's clearly a conspiracy against Lebron........
The TNT broadcasting crew agreed that it was a good no-call.

Jordan would've gotten a call. Then again, MJ would've gotten a call if there was nobody within 10 ft. either.

SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOZE FEST.
Can the game of basketball be any more boring?
I think not. Not even the WNBA is that uninteresting.
Definitely not as exciting as I'd like to see but it is the Detroit Pistons we're talking about. They'll bore guys like you all the way to another championship.

That's because Jordan was ......... Jordan. Besides, you rarely saw Jordan wildly driving to the lane and throwing up a shot over his shoulder. In clutch time, he created space for a high-percentage shot, which Lebron definitely didn't.
Lebran ain't no Jordan.

I'd rather see a team from the west win by executing play after play as opposed to watching a team from the east win by walking the ball up the court and playing with their backs to the rim all night.

It was good defense on the part of Rip until he fouled LeBron on the shot.
Rip moved his feet which is the absolute best way to play defense on anyone of any talent.
That led to LeBron taking a shot in which his feet weren't positioned the way he would normally like. Rip then lost verticality and fouled LeBrons arm in the act of shooting.
Just the way it works.
No matter....Hughes should have made the easy 8 footer on the ensuing rebound. And, Varajeo had a chance to tip Hughes' miss.

Lebron would have been wise to take the ball to the basket, rather than fading away and not giving himself a good look at the basket. You're 6'8" and 250 pounds, for crying out loud........ go up strong. Chances are he would have had little chance to make that shot even without Hamilton in his grill, simply because it was a poor shot selection. A case could also be made that Lebron pushed off and traveled before taking the shot. Furthermore, the goaltending call on McDyess was pretty bogus, as well. Everybody wants to focus on the last play of the game, but there were plenty of questionable calls and non-calls both ways.

Why in the world was Chauncey Billups allowed to drive his elbow into Varejo's head?

IT'S OVER!!!
My two favorite players are one stinking win away from the NBA Finals where they get to match up against a bunch of wannabe professional wrestlers.
