If you haven't picked up on it, she only half means what she says. Most of it is aimed just to piss people on the left off, and to be funny to those on the right. If you yell the loudest and the most brash and outlandish, you will get noticed the most.

Like every other major media pundit out there on both sides politically(Jon Stewart, Chris Matthews, Bill Maher, Rush Limbaugh, etc.), they're primarily out there to get attention and entertain and shouldn't be taken too seriously, though I agree that they can get annoying rather easily.
