It would be 3 games out. I want to be excited, but I'm pretty much where Swingingbunt is.

They're 6.5 out right now
Braves lose both tomorrow, it's a full game, making it 5.5 out
Cards sweep, it's 2.5

No problem, I'm not anticipating a Mets sweep, but hopefully they get a split and it's status quo

You betcha, and as I said in the original post...the pitching matchups for Friday/Saturday are pretty darn favorable in Cards direction
Have the Cardinals faced Delgado before? Has anybody one the team faced Delgado?
Because typically we are horrible going against a guy for the first time.

I could get mildly enthused if we are within 4.5 games after this weekend.

There is hope. Regardless of what Atlanta does tomorrow a sweep puts the pressure on.
