Cassel might not be the guy to take us to a Super Bowl. And we might very well draft a QB this year. But, for next season it's likely Cassel as the starter regardless or we're in full-on rebuilding mode. And that's not necessary.Leroy wrote:Surprising move. My personal opinion is that Matt is not the quarterback to get them to where they want to be. I say that objectively, because obviously Carson Palmer isn't for the Raiders either. I get tired of how the coach always gets the blame for poor play, injuries etc. Especially in the Denver and KC situations lately, because the fired coaches were pretty much labeled boy wonders from the get go. Did they all of a sudden get dumb?
Earlier this season I was all sold on dumping Cassel, but after seeing how bad the offense is without him, I think Cassel can win games for us.
