Honestly, the politically correct solution is to offer a course in Logic in Theology that would satisfy the senior level requirement, taught by someone who is sympathetic to creationists.

high school, ha. i could deal with it then and you should tell me to just suck it up as the kids are still developing cognitively. Nope I teach at a university. Without revealing too much I teach a discipline that focuses on logic, critical thinking and and ends in ___osophy. It is an applied class with some theory. Not too much because that doesn't work with the students at my school.

I studied that subject once upon a time, and out senior seminar focused on metaphysics/ontology. It was one of my favorite classes. I'm sorry your class isn't working out like that.

When I was in college I often wondered how half the kids even got accepted. Then I realized that largely college is just a money grab. I'm sure your student will get her degree, just like everyone else these days and it will be largely meaningless like them as well.

I feel like education these days is just a given. If you bother showing up they are going to give you the degree. It's sad and I really feel for the educators. You couldn't pay me enough to put up with all the young ignorant ass [expletive] of the world.
