I think you'll get it. Greinke on the road has been bad news since coming to Milwaukee.
Ron Roenicke, in his infinite wisdom, has Gamel out again (not that he's tearing it up, mind you, but this is typical Ron Ron). Brewers have zero discipline at the plate, our pitching is a mess, our defense is a joke, and our bullpen is laughable right now.
Yes, I'm ranting just a wee bit. Looks like the Brewers are still in spring training. Somebody should tell them that these games count.
Oh well. Good luck today, guys.
BTW, I was very sorry to hear about the accident at that sports bar in St. Louis after the game. One person dead, several injured from what I last heard.
We might not root for the same teams, but every person I've met/talked to from St. Louis has been top notch. So, I have a bit of a heavy heart today.

On a lighter note, doe_boy, I don't think we even warrant that big a broom. Maybe a little one.
We don't warrant much of anything right now.

As has been noted, it appears Schumaker has been given the title of Acting Starting 2b.

I hope that Jay bunted there on his own, trying for a hit......otherwise, sacrificing in the first inning is not a call I like.

I know Grienke's got some home-road split issues, but after the way he pitched against us last time out, it's possible Matheny was trying to get a first-inning run by any means possible.

Furcal's BA is now .326 and his OBA is on the order of .389. I'll gladly take that.
