I assume it's referring to the 2013 recruiting class- the guys who are committing right now to show up next fall.lukethedrifter wrote:MU pulls in Boehm and DGB and still only 11th in conference?

aah. I haven't been following who is coming in for '13. Or if I have, I forgot.

2012 was top 20 if I remember. 2013 has three 4* and 11 3* recruits per rival.com. 5 of the St. Lou top 10. I'm not sure who is considering MIZ.lukethedrifter wrote:JL21 wrote:I assume it's referring to the 2013 recruiting class- the guys who are committing right now to show up next fall.lukethedrifter wrote:MU pulls in Boehm and DGB and still only 11th in conference?

They've cleaned house in the state of Missouri so far. They just picked up a commit from a Fenton LB who had been considering Arkansas and Nebraska. They've done especially well at LB and OL.

Yeah, of the Top 13 players in Missouri, 10 are Mizzou commits, 1 RB is committed to Ohio State, and 2 more are still undecided and strongly considering Mizzou.

Re: The 2012 Mizzou Football Thread
I wonder how much the move to the SEC has helped them recruit. I thought it was a pretty big factor for DGB. Of course, I just heard the Arkansas fans griping about how he would have come to AR had Mizzou not been coming to the SEC....so it's not exactly unbiased sources....

Love the T.J. Moe quote about moving to the SEC they have in SI.

Re: The 2012 Mizzou Football Thread
LG Travis Ruth and backup RT Taylor Chappell are both out indefinitely (and I think Chappell is done for the year). RT Justin Britt is still recovering from a broken foot.
Other than QB, the one place Mizzou can least afford to have a bunch of injuries is along the offensive line. Hopefully it curbs soon (and it sounds like Britt will be fine when the first game rolls around).
