There are tons of rumors about him around Madison that would seem to indicate he ain't too different from Petrino.

I thought AW was joking.... YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not saying he was an awful coach but we should have won the tcu rose bowl and the two hail mary games in 2011 and not blown 5 games this year, although he deserves his due for 3 rose bowls in a row and winning the first two bigten title games.

He was not going to compete with Ohio State going forward so Wisconsin needs to get a top notch coach or get used to the Capital 0ne and Outback Bowls every year.

I have been a Malzahn coach for, I don't know, forever. Since he was a high school coach, basically. It's a tragedy, imo, that he won't be at Arkansas. Whatever he touches turns to gold. Good for him.

He wasn't going to compete with Ohio State...but he will be able to compete in the SEC?

It's going to be very hard for anyone going into Wisconsin to top what Bielema accomplished. I don't know. I'm fairly young, but I'm old enough to recall how Wisconsin football barely even existed before Barry Alvarez.
