EVeryone heals differently. I know when I'm overly stressed, work tends to calm me. It's up to the Chiefs to determine what works best for them, in my opinion. If that means getting on the field as a group and doing what they do.......... I don't have a big problem with that.

If Crennel and Pioli saw Belcher shoot himself in the head, that's going to take some time to get over. That's not a commentary on whether they should play or not.

All it took was a murder-suicide for the Chiefs to show some passion this year.

Well it wouldn't be the first time this season that the Chiefs defense got shot to hell. Too soon?

Goodell didn't make them play.
I don't believe that. In any case, playing today is pretty gross.

Why would Goodell care if they played today, or postponed it?

Never too soon at GRB.

This is a travesty. I understand why the Chiefs might have wanted to play the game, but come on. Not everyone could possibly be thinking clearly enough to make a rational decision about this so quickly. I guarantee that some of the players, fans, others will look back on this in time and regret that they played the game.

It has to be mentioned in light of all the other deaths and suicides by former NFL players: could this incident have been caused due to head trauma Belcher suffered while playing football?

I wonder if they can even investigate that at all. But this to me is why the decision to play this game is even more tone deaf, as a nice way of saying it.
