Michael Cuddyer out for Friday's Rockies-Cardinals game with neck problem

ST. LOUIS — The Rockies lineup has taken another hit.

Just as the club got Troy Tulowitzki back in the lineup, right fielder Michael Cuddyer has been sidelined by a disc problem in his neck. Cuddyer will miss Friday night's game here against the St. Louis Cardinals.

At this point, Cuddyer is receiving treatment and his status is considered day-to-day. However, there are concerns that the injury could linger.

"This is something I've dealt with since 2004," Cuddyer said. "When this happens, it locks me up. I can't turn my neck, and it makes it very difficult to play."
