I bought a black belt at Target last week.

I expected more snark, so I gave fewer details. I've worked my arse off, lost 60 lbs. At one time 40 seconds of jump rope had me almost ready to puke, now I can jump for 2-3 min, 5 or 6 sets, as a nice warmup before an hour or two workout. Still a lot to work on, but I'm pretty damn proud.

Congrats! I wouldn't mind doing this martial arts stuff, maybe next winter. Cool stuff.
