U are better off drinking water than that.MrCrowesGarden wrote:I like whole milk but rarely buy it. 2% is what I usually get, I'm fine with 1%, skim is awful. My parents keep it at their house, and when I was home last weekend, just about spit it out.

Re: Sour milk
I cannot remember the last time I drank a glass of milk? Has to be 30 years at least?
Come to think of it, not just a glass, but milk in anything...don't eat cereal.
We always have a small container to cook with it, but that's about it.
Freaking love cheese though...

Re: Sour milk
I used to be a 2% guy, but then my wife slowly converted me to skim....which now tastes just fine. It took awhile to make the adjustment but now I prefer it over the 2% that is always at my parents house. I can drink the 2% just fine, but I actually prefer the skim.
A bonus is that the skim gets colder than the 2% and nothing is better than taking a few nice swigs of nearly ice cold milk right out of the gallon!

2% all the way.
Whole is gross.
Skim is gross.

If not for cereal and caucasians, I wouldn't have consumed any milk since Clinton was in the White House.

Re: Sour milk
We started buying whole for the kids for after they were done nursing, and never stopped. (My wife and kids will add a little half and half or whipping cream to their cereal on top of the whole milk if we have either of the former in the house - they love them some cow fat). Whole milk does double duty as cream for my coffee that 2% just can't do. i can tolerate 2% for drinking or cereal, but anything less is horrid.

Re: Sour milk
The Latinos at work have decided that I have an unevolved palate because I drink mucho leche like a nino pequeno and ask me whether I'll be having any whenever I order food. Either that or they call me barracho hombre (drunk man) or senor mucho barracho hombre (mister very drunk man). Basically they're obsessed with what I'm drinking and how much.Maclowery wrote:I can, and routinely, drink three or four glasses of milk with a meal. 2%. But for whatever reason, whole milk is just too much, and I can't drink it straight. Only use its accidental purchases for chocolate milk or protein shakes. 1% tastes flat. Skim is simply gross.
On the topic of sour milk: Because I am such a gross over-drinker of milk, I never deal with spoiled milk like normal people. But when I run into it at my parents' or any other home, it's an awful disappointment.
Whole milk for me.
