Rant: Navient and stonewalling customer support

What sucks is they have all the leverage. If you just refuse to pay it, they'll just add more fees on. If you pay it, they've won. From what I understand, you've consolidated federal loans with Navient, probably at a better rate? Once done, I'm not sure you can re-consolidate with another company..like Sofi?

Even going on a social media campaign is going to cost you time and effort. I'm sure you don't mind putting your resources into resolving the problem...but it sucks you have to do that.

Exactly. In fact, is there really anything to prevent them from having just one customer support agent who's job is to just say no? That seems to be more or less what they are doing, and there's apparently basically nothing I can do about it other than try to complain more loudly (which they are free to just ignore).

I think your best bet is to keep trying the customer service reps until you get one who cares enough about the human race to actually fix the problem.
