Yeah...I don't think Theo has really watched "The Godfather" because this move isn't exactly Al Neri shooting Moe Greene during a massage.

The system is obviously broken. And I understand what fowler is saying. But teams aren't really choosing an unproven prospect (TBD at a later date) over him. They're just choosing to gamble on an unproven guy's contract that will have about $1M in risk and the possibility of gosh who knows $100M in reward as opposed to signing a guy at market rates who projects to add a couple wins and cost as much.

I think Fowler is a decent player who is a victim of this bad system, but he needs to fire his agent

He was referring to the surprise factor when he said it. I haven't seen the movie (I know, I know), but I figure there was some sort of big plot twist at some point or something?
