We are definitely not gutless, I could actually do with quite a lot less gut.Fat_Bulldog wrote:I have a huge gut.

Don't forget the ongoing FBI investigation.
Oh, Joe: It's "you're a gutless cheat as well"
Huge movie buff. Well, I WAS until action and CGI became more important than story.Joe Shlabotnik wrote:Glad you caught the reference.Medwick's Ghost wrote:Sorry, but I know (or care) nothing about that issue.Joe Shlabotnik wrote:"Not only are you a cheat. You're a gutless cheat."

He probably did, but because they're the Browns, they don't really count.a_smith wrote:I am surprised that the ghost of ducky joe didnt remember the st louis browns.
How is Oquendo being eased out the door? He had knee surgery. I would love to see him get a managerial job, but it won't be in St. Louis. LaRussa - love him or hate him was involved in some of the most Successful Cardinal Years ever.Medwick's Ghost wrote:Huge movie buff. I used to be a big Card buff too. But the addition of LaRussa and his self serving practices actually being lauded by the talking heads started chipping away at my loyalty. Now that he's gone I would think that Ozzie would have been restored to a significant place in the organization. Oh's interpreter wears a Card uni for Chrissakes.
Right now Oquendo is being eased out the door and the town says nothing. I stand by gutless.
I did in fact forget about the Browns. I don't know enough about the 1950s team and the climate of the town. I suppose that the Cards' popularity at the time was at a zenith and the Brownie attendance was dipping.obucard wrote:He probably did, but because they're the Browns, they don't really count.a_smith wrote:I am surprised that the ghost of ducky joe didnt remember the st louis browns.
