I would call it exposing the musical truth. Grunge, it was awesome for like 4 years.
And your rebuttal, Tim?
If grunge was once awesome, how can it no longer be awesome? It's either awesome or it isn't awesome.

Interesting. And how does receiving that information make you feel, Luke?

Oh, damn.

Tim, are you going to let these blatantly accusatory remarks go unchallenged? There must be justice!

I'm with Luke on this one. Tosh's version is a good cover that adds an interesting take on a great song. The Soundgarden version is just a louder, less well-played version of the original. I like Soundgarden, but that's a terrible cover IMO.

lukethedrifter wrote:Oh cmon. I know we’ve got a few Chris Cornell fanboys on here but Soundgarden belongs in the extremely overrated bands Top 10.

Listen to the songs.
I am one of those fanboys, and I generally don't like Reggae music (talk about overrated!), but Johnny B Goode is the better song.

Hey. Tim’s out of the country and incommunicado now. It’s okay to go ahead and switch your vote now.
