"Hey Jude" was one of my favorite covers in the contest. Pickett's vocals and Allman's guitar are just such a great combination, and Pickett's cover completely overshadows the Beatles' as the definitive version of that song for me, kind of like Hendrix's "All Along the Watchtower". I'm glad to see it win.
I was hoping to see it matched up against the "Johnny B. Goode" cover, which was another good original take on a classic song, and was pulling for "Malaguena" as a bit of an underdog choice to reach the finals, but those both did pretty well in the tournament as non-obvious choices, so I can't complain.

Thanks for all the votes guys. I say that like I had anything to do with the making of the song. Lol anyway I think it's a classic that needed shared and I hope I turned some of you on to it.
