Kemba highly rumored to be pretty much a done deal with Boston. Who had an undersized PG who can do nothing more than shoot. And dumped him after he played through tragedy for Kyrie, who then wrecked their chemistry. So, good luck Kemba.

Hornets WILL STILL BE OVER THE CAP. Think about that.33anda3rd wrote:Kemba highly rumored to be pretty much a done deal with Boston. Who had an undersized PG who can do nothing more than shoot. Should’ve traded him at the break if you weren’t going to offer him the max.

So, like the USA under Trump.Tim wrote:Hornets WILL STILL BE OVER THE CAP. Think about that.33anda3rd wrote:Kemba highly rumored to be pretty much a done deal with Boston. Totally. You can't pay tax if you're not competing. Hornets seem blindsided by this, like they just didn't think Kemba would go somewhere else. But then it's like if he stays they stink. Really badly managed, agree totally.Tim wrote:Hornets WILL STILL BE OVER THE CAP. Think about that.33anda3rd wrote:Kemba highly rumored to be pretty much a done deal with Boston. Also really badly managed: Lakers. They have no cap space but they're trying to get meetings with elite FA like they're Miami and LeBron is still in his 20s. They just sent three guys to the Wiz basically for free and talked AD into waiving his $4MM+ trade kicker--no doubt coming back in Space Jam 2 money from LeBron and Mav and Klutch--and they're still kind of screwed. Reggie Bullock is a $4.75MM cap hold for them. If they can keep his cap hold on the books while signing other free agents then they get to use Bullock to exceed the cap, which they have to do. How they handle Reggie Bullock is maybe the most important piece in their off-season and they don't seem to understand how all the cap mechanics work, based on the AD trade still being shuffled an hour ago. They're a $4-5 billion business who needs a $400K/year nerd to sit in an office and manage their cap. Most teams have that nerd. The Lakers seem to think they can just get by on the Lakers Mystique.

Yesterday was so crazy you can make a claim that teams like Utah have a shot at the title. It's that wide-open. Indiana got tougher, Philly got better, Miami, Nets, the East got stronger while keeping the two best young talents in the NBA. What a night!

Lillard is going to make $54+ million in a few years.
Just stay up there in Canada, Kawhi.

The Blazers are having a PHENOMENAL free agency season. They keep Dame, they get Whiteside just for helping MIA land Butler, they re-upped Rodney Hood for an amount of money that makes you go "wait...Rodney Hood signed for that little ass amount of money?", they added Bazemore and Hezonja who was the subject of my rant on the beauty of the NBA a couple months back. I love their offseason so far.

Whiteside is a great get. We won't get buried while Nurkic is rehabbing. Then we can move him and his expiring $27 mil with picks (we have all our firsts) and/or Simons/Collins/Little at the deadline and bring back a lot of player. Or keep him and Nurkic.
The West is going to be really great. I just hope Kawhi stays away from the Lakers. It would spoil the fun, and also the club/Magic don't deserve it.
