It doesn’t matter how well Flaherty pitches if we can’t hit. To think that just a couple of weeks ago we thought this team was good.

I still think they are good; just that they don't have the depth to make up for multiple injuries at once.

Waino posted this on his twitter yesterday...probably better than the other pictures I had found for the White Sox ballpark.

This team is clearly above the worst teams, and clearly below the best teams.
It's hard to imagine they can't find better outfielders than Lane Thomas or Justin Williams. Carpenter should be DFA'd.
Yasiel Puig is playing the Mexican league. Domingo Santana is in Japan. Logan Morrison is playing in independent ball. None of these guys are very good but it's an incredibly low bar to get into this lineup. Any of these guys would be an upgrade right now.

Bats need to wake up. Captain Jack must remain undefeated!

I don't think we're "bad" but as others have said, we have zero depth and a weak bullpen. We need reinforcements. Badly. I think we are the best team in the Central but we're significantly below the Dodgers/Padres/White Sox/Yankees type teams.
I think we're with the Mets/Giants/Brewers/Cubs/Indians. Flawed teams but maybe top heavy enough to carry them to a respectable record and maybe a playoff appearance.

we should all, of course, know better. they did nothing in the offseason and were gifted arenado for some reason. this was always going to be a rebound/restructure year, make dewitt some money back and if they make the playoffs, great!

Of course, with me, I check out the Phillies' third baseman, the A's shortstop, and the Twins' right fielder.
