That's absurd. Hopefully a news camera got out there to get these asshats faces out to the public.

Seems like the online fallout for people attending similar rallies has been a deterrent from this type of stupidity.

So it turns out someone actually did take pictures/video of the little Nazi rally. Btw, they chose the only neighborhood in Austin with a large Jewish community for this little event.

Apparently the [expletive] nazis are back out there on the same overpass right now. Here's the current banner. I feel sick.

You can actually see a cop talking to these [expletive] in the second image.

So two things are true. One, you have a free speech right to say vile, hateful things. It's true. The first amendment gives you the right to say racist stuff, which means the government can't punish you for the content of your speech.

The other thing that's true is that there are local ordinances and state law on hanging unauthorized signs on street/highway right of way. It doesn't matter if your sign says Go Cardinals or [expletive] the Jews. It's a public safety question. So a lot of folks in Austin right now are asking why the nazi [expletive] aren't being at least cited, with the signs being removed.

Did TX by chance legalize hitting protestors with your car??? Asking for a friend.

Man, that’s crazy. There’s no way those guys are able to meaningfully participate in society if they’re doing stuff like that. For every one who is willing to stick their face out there there’s got to be hundreds who aren’t willing.
