Yeah, maybe he’s not so great after all. He’s actually my great nephew-in-law so I’m disappointed that his wife didn’t bring him over from the dark side.

I’m with Waino on this one. I know the numbers point toward using relievers, but the more relievers you use the greater chance you have of finding the one(s) that don’t have it that day. Unless the SP is really bad the third time through a lineup, if he’s cruising get at least 6 out of him and just be ready to pull him at the first sign of trouble.

Also, uh, wano ain’t the reason the cardinals aren’t in the World Series. The bullpen took the L, not the starter, fwiw.
