Very exciting and I hope he’ll be a generational superstar. But… am I the only one that was more impressed with Mason Wynn’s spring this year?

The 2020 draft, which I liked but wasn’t screaming from the rooftops over it, is looking like an all-time draft.

The Braves and the Cardinals that year both changed the direction of their franchises in that draft.

Pleasantly surprised.

As far as I can tell this will be the youngest Cardinals debut since Ankiel. Before that you have to go back to David Green and Garry Templeton. Walker even has Keith Hernandez beat by a few days.

As far as youngest on an opening day roster goes, I think Ankiel still has him beat but before that you might have to go back to Curt Flood. I could easily be missing someone.

Rally Squirrel would have been probably only 3 or so.

The best thing about high level young prospects is that I keep getting older, but they stay the same age.

I wish my boss would praise me for blocking out the criticism when I don't do my job. 😅
