seeing red podcast, i think, is back on a weekly schedule. IIRC, they mentioned starting last offseason they'd probably only do an episode(s) if a "big" news item/transactions happened over the winter and so i think they ended up with just 1 offseason episode hah. anyways, fwiw.

Bobby Miller smoked in the dome by a 106 comebacker. Apparently he’s fine.

Sonny Gray could make his Grapefruit League debut on Friday.
Gray finished last season on the shelf with flexor tendinitis and has faced hitters only once this spring in a live batting practice session. The 35-year-old veteran right-hander is coming off one of his strongest seasons of his career and figures to draw the Opening Day start for St. Louis, barring something unexpected.

Cardinals manager Oli Marmol told reporters Alec Burleson’s at-bats this spring will come at first base and DH.
The Cardinals are giving former top prospect Jordan Walker every opportunity this spring to emerge as their starting right fielder with Lars Nootbaar and Brendan Donovan in center and left field, respectively. Willson Contreras entering the mix at first base complicates his path to regular at-bats at the cold corner, but Burleson figures to start everyday at DH against right-handed pitching, in addition to batting near the top of St. Louis’ lineup.

Welcome home, Rob Kaminsky.
Maybe he’ll be better his 4th stint with the team.

Don't know how often a team with only 3 hits blew a 6 run lead - but the Cards pulled it off!
