Who am I kidding...this is awful. I feel like I got dumped, but got dumped by someone I know I couldn't compete with. This is going to sting for awhile.
I feel like I got dumped by someone that I kinda felt like I wasn't going to get married to anyway. Like still stings, but with the odds that it might have been a bad marriage it might be for the best.

Dissapointed, but I am a St. Louis Cardinals fan. No player is bigger than the team...

True story: I never bought a single piece of Albert Pujols memorabilia, unless you count the poster on my wall of the blowup from that famous ESPN magazine cover of "The Best Team in Baseball" back in '04 with him, Rolen and Edmonds on it. Don't know why, but I never managed to get anything of his.

Now I'm glad I didn't.

I had prepared myself. It's gonna suck not seeing him in a Cardinals uniform, but I'm with everyone else. It was obviously all about the money, $50 mil or not...the Cards just won a WS, have a good farm system, and the pieces in place to do it again.

He's not the man I thought he was, and that's more disappointing than anything. Good job to Mo and the office for making a VERY competitive offer but not folding to him.

More like, feel like I got dumped by someone I didn't really want to marry cause it would have been an expensive and ugly divorce. Sad it's over, happy it ended cheaply.
