Swept the Pirates last month

Ahh yes. I forgot.

I said it pretty early in the thread but the Cardinals, despite having a good record, generally haven't been good in these swing/hinge games for most of the season.

L vs Pirates on 4/10-- no sweep
L vs Brewers on 4/17-- no 3 of 4
L vs Marlins on 4/21-- no sweep
L vs Reds on 4/24-- no sweep
W vs Mets on 4/27-- avoided sweep
W vs D-Backs on 5/1-- avoided losing 3/4
Ls vs Giants on 5/7 & 5/8-- split series after winning first 2
W vs Pirates on 5/22-- sweep
L vs Brewers on 5/29-- no 3 of 4
W vs Padres on 6/1-- sweep

This isn't a perfect way of doing this, but they are now 2-6 when it comes to stepping on the opponent's throat and 2-0 at avoiding absolute disaster.
