Fellow at the Pitchers Hit 8th blog notes that Garcia's OPS against is 150 points lower when he has six days rest. My hunch was the extra day would help him and that he's tired late in the season. Also gives Lynn another day. Would like to see a Garcia/Lynn tag team to get through seven innings.

That's actually a really good point. It is very possible that one of the reasons he was so bad before his last start was because of pitching a career high in innings. Now I feel pretty optimistic.
