I definately don't think that trade is fair, but usually I stay away from vetoing trades...

Why would someone vote against it?

Because you're giving him a crazy deal.

Hudson is the #3 hitter on the best offensive team in the league. Dice-K will be top 5 in the league in K's and W's with a respectable ERA and whip.

Verlander's fastball velocity is down 3mph according to fangraphs. Holliday is a great player but I've got a lot of quality outfielders (Holliday has been my 5th best so far, though I realize that won't continue).

I didn't vote against it because I was worried about you getting ripped off. I voted because it stacks maddash.

Look at his pitching.

Right, I almost always would only vote against a trade if I felt 2 teams were working together, this is obviously not the case here.
However I do think that maddash is getting quite the deal. I know Hudson may be batting 3rd, but batting position is temporary. The fact that at his best he is a 13HR - 10 SB sub .300 BA guy (which is all below starting fantasy baseball average) is permanant. Holliday is 30+HR with 10 SB batting average probably .310+ and will be top 10/15 in Runs and RBIs. But I know you know baseball so if you feel the fact that you are loaded with OFers and Hudson is going to fill a hole elsewhere then so be it. Like I said, I only vote against collusion.

The Dice-K/Verlander part I do find pretty even. If you think Verlander has lost a little something, then I can't argue with you. Both guys if they pitch well this year will be top 10 in Ks, W's with respectable WHIP and ERAs.
