Yesterday, Jerrell Jackson might have saved the Sooners the trouble of exploring their creative writing talents. Asked about Oklahoma being tough to beat in Norman, Jackson offered this gem:

“I don’t know what makes them tough,” he said. “They’re ain’t nothing tough about them to me. Just watching film, I’m just going to attack them like I attack every other opponent.”

Another reporter quickly noted the co-captain’s words would soon surface on the Internet.

“I know, I know,” Jackson said.

I personally like the message it sends. I hope Mizzou puts it up in their lockerroom as well. They're 21.5 point dogs, a little confidence boost isn't going to hurt.

Am to lazy to read the articles - so what has to happen for Mizzou to pull off an upset in this game? Any of the injured players returning yet for Mizzou -Kendial etc?

Ruth(C) and Smith(DE) will be back in the lineup, apparently Ruth played some against Western Illinois.


To win, they'll have to do something like win the turnover battle by at least 2, dominate special teams(no missed FG, punting game continues excellence, a kickoff return like last year wouldn't hurt..), and Franklin needs to play just as well as he did v. ASU against a much better defense.

Seriously, I don't see Missouri losing by 3 touchdowns.

I foresee something like Mizzou staying within 7-10 points for most of the game, and then in the 4th quarter something goes wrong and the final score ends up pretty close to the spread. Things can snowball quickly in Norman.
