I demand you apologize for being so anti-american.
I demand you apologize for insinuating that I am anti-american.
Actually, between this and the Nugent scandal, we should just start a thread where everybody has to post an apology to everybody else in GRB since we're all [expletive].
Michael Kay is the real douche in this whole ordeal, intentionally or not. He took time out from the broadcast to badmouth these people and make them a laughingstock for no reason.
Edit: And I doubt the couple called a press conference to demand an apology. You know they've been getting a million calls and requests for interviews about this. So now that they've been vindicated as innocent the internet continues to call them [expletive] for wanting an apology?

I'll just say this. I know more about being American than anyone. Anyone! And you sir are not an American. Apologize.

I would like to apologize to all of GRB for continuing to post.

If what Molly posted is true it sounds to me like the only pieces of [expletive] in this whole scenario are Michael Kay and the guys at Deadspin.
Molly wrote:From CT (yes, I still go there) regarding the couple and the kid:
The parents were on the Today show today (Friday).
They don't blame the other couple at all. First off, the other couple were looking at the ball and each other and didn't even hear the kid over the noise of the crowd. When they did notice him, they offered him the ball. They actually did! And the parents said, "No", because the kid (3 year old) was going through a phase where he wanted everything his way and they were trying to teach him that he can't have everything he wants. They said they other couple was very friendly and they wish them well. (They are getting married next week, by the way).
But, no, they were glad the other couple did NOT give him the ball, even though they did offer to do so.
So if someone unfairly vilified you on television, leading you to become the most mocked person in America for 24 hours, you wouldn't think an apology was in order?
Agreed. And the douchebag couple that didn't give the ball to the kid. Don't forget them.
