I was out in the middle of nowhere yesterday so I missed all of the action. I just saw the Auburn-UGA ending, and how close Mizzou came to having the SEC East title all wrapped up.

But holy [expletive], what an amazing ending.

That Auburn game didn't have any effect on Mizzou did it? I thought it was just the Florida-SC game that mattered. Florida had every chance to win that and couldn't get it done.

I didn't think it did. But the announcers - Verne and Gary who aren't exactly pillars of knowledge - said if GA won, a 3 way 2-loss scenario would put Mizzou in the SEC champ game as winners of the east. Though, I thought if that were the scenario, GA would have gone. But...what do I know.

No worries, all you have to do is beat Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M! What can go wrong?
Explanation of the tiebreaker
http://www.kansascity.com/2013/11/17/46 ... still.html
So if they had all finished at 6-2, head-to-head doesn't break the tie because they're each 1-1 against the other two. But the second tiebreaker is record within the division, and Georgia and USC both have two losses within the SEC East (Georgia L to Vanderbilt, USC loss to Tennesee), while Missouri has only one loss within the division, with no other games left against the East.
Although now that I look at it I see that you also have a game against Mississippi coming up, so it's not true that a Georgia win would have locked up the SEC East for you; you still could have hypothetically lost the East by losing to Ole Miss AND Texas A&M. But Georgia losing on that freak play and eliminating the possibility of a three-way tie means that you must now win out whereas before all you had to do was split your last two. (And of course if you had closed the deal against South Carolina you already would have clinched.) Should be interesting viewing.

Right. But he's saying they had sex, the kind where both agree to it.
