That goaltender interference call, was it a good one?

I don't know. While the Blues player (can't remember which one) did clip the goalie's skate, the opposing defenseman actually bumped his own goalie after that and with more force.

Got to attend last night. Fun game. I'm 2-0-0 this year.

Lapierre shipped out to Pittsburgh for Marcel Goc. Goc hasn't had a good year, but he's played with hot garbage on the Pens 4th line. He might be of some value if he can kill penalties.

I'm a little surprised we were able to upgrade like that. Goc always seemed like a solid 3rd line type who could score a little, while Lappy is... scrappy but not that talented.

EDIT: Looking at stats, perhaps Goc is really a 4th liner, but Lappy has had a rough year, so I can't see this as anything but an upgrade, albeit a slight one. Yay for lateral moves.

I think the big plus is that Goc is an excellent penalty killer. Pens were 4th in the PK this year, and he's a big part of that.

The secondary benefit is that he's a player that can move up a line if there's injuries.

Haha. Ott telling the caps he'll kick their ass then sign their sticks so they can hang it in their bedrooms is solid trash talk.

Blues on a roll. Hope the injuries don't pile up any more though...
