The Cardinals' leading player tied a major-league record with four doubles as the Cardinals routed the Rockies, 12-3, to claim the series and regain a lead ahead of Colorado in the National League wild-card race. Carpenter's four doubles tied Joe "Ducky" Medwick for the Cardinals' club record, and it had been done several dozen other times in big-league history
Tied Medwick... That's a helluva enigma.

I was wondering what the doubles record was. Kind of weird that it’s the same as home runs.

Fun game. Needed a win like that. Seems like every game has been hard fought lately.

Probably been said, but impressive outing for Gomber as well as the team. They shook off last night's game like it didn't happen.

My mom's name is Thyra after her mother. My uncle's name was Francis. But they were called Sis and Bud from when they were born til her parents and brother died.
