Agreed. Financially, we made a good decision. I know this is business, and there's no reason to expect a player to accept a lesser deal. I admit he's over-rationalizing a business decision and you can justifiably disagree that the Cardinals insulted him, but taking a deal worth $50 million more dollars hardly qualifies as an offensive gesture. The insults being thrown his way are pretty juvenile, in my opinion. This thread reads like something on NSBB.

If that graph was true, Thome wouldn't be a Hall of Famer. He wouldn't even be mentioned as a possible Hall of Famer.
