Not really. Hubby and I had a dog too but had her euthanized because of age/kidney failure. As soon as we get a fence we will have another dog!

I was just joshing. Cats still outnumber dogs in our house, 3-2. We had just cats for years because we both worked outside the home and didn't think it would be fair to have dogs and then leave (or crate) them all day.
The dogs became possible 3 years ago when I went mobile and started working from home (and we finished fencing the yard!)
Our "blended" family is getting along quite well these days.
(I am wondering why there are seemingly so many more captioned cat pictures than dog ones on the web...)
