Maybe this is addressed in the other thread, but if McGwire will be the hitting coach, and since Holliday has worked with him during past off seasons, does that relationship help the team's chances in re-signing Holliday?

I think it adds about a .0001% chance. He's either going to sign, or he's going to take $50m more from someone else. Yeah the leg-kick thing is funny. Mac had him do it a few years back and it was written how this transformed Holliday from a middling .800OPS hitter to an elite hitter. Then he goes to Oakland and sucks it up and they blame the leg kick for causing him to suck.
