Somebody, somewhere in St. Louis quit drawing up plans for his statue.
Albert Thank you and [expletive] you at the same time.

I think it's payback for the Edmonds trade.

and if the team underperforms and Scoscia gets fired TLR to the Angels dugout in _____ (insert # of years here)
That thought occurred to me too. They're both in CA, now.

Wonder if someone will egg or otherwise deface his statue by his restaurant. I'm not advocating that, but if Pujols has any class, he'd take that sucker down. There's plenty of real estate around Angel Stadium. The area is a wasteland basically. He should put it up there.

I hope they don't accidentally have a meal while they're there.

Someone should paint one those wacky dollar sign suit jackets on it.

I'm not pissed. At anybody. At Albert for taking that offer. Or at the Cardinals for making a significant offer but drawing the line and not financially handicapping the franchise for the next decade.
A new era of Cardinal baseball is upon us - post-TLR, post-Albert - and frankly I'm kind of excited.
Plus now there won't be any confusion as to which statue to meet at.
