I'm a bit to tired for a detail post in this thread tonight. Perhaps tomorrow?

Anyhoo

Not that I disagree, but I also had a very prominent poster leave because he felt I was defending conservatives too much. As most of you know, I lean left, but I come from a family of conservatives who are good and decent people just like the folks on this message board. In all seriousness, I find quality conservative posts way more interesting than liberal ones. The different POV way more more interesting. GRB was created to be an anti-echo chamber. I hope everyone knows respecting other opinions is a core value here.

Consequently I really think posters need to really consider their tone when replying. There's a arrogant condescension that is like nails on the chalkboard for me. There's a few posters in particular who might need to be banned. It's something that's in active discussion.

One other thing that's help me - I've learned sometimes you just have to let things go when you disagree with someone. Make your point then move on. You don't need the last word. Really. Sometimes (not always) discussions become needlessly circular.

Finally, use the damn mod report button.

Well I miss doc alot, and not for her liberal views. I really appreciate the women's perspective on baseball, and unfortunately we don't have many female posters so losing one is a bummer.

I doubt that refers to doc. Cpebbles, maybe?

I figured docellis was just occupied with other things rather than upset at the board, but she's missed regardless.

Nobody is going to use that mod report button michael. I used it once to piss off the mods I think. You may as well just disable that feature.

I only used it once, the time that mother [expletive] was posting spoilers on the Star Wars thread. He needed to be dealt with swiftly and with extreme prejudice.

Snitch. You know what we do with snitches where I come from? We call them snitches. And if you don't stop snitching I'm going to call you a snitch again.

are you joking or being serious? the mods have repeatedly said to use this function if you have an issue with someone. you should use it if you are being serious..but it sounds like you are poo-pooing on it.

i use it a lot for spam threads. and ICE when he was spoiling star wars
