that is a fantastic movie.. i loved the ending..
Hey Omaha- also watched "Stage Fright" recently - agreed its a Hitchcock underrated classic.
yep.. loved that one.. have you done "I Confess" yet?
have not. thanks for the reminder - I queud it up at the library.

Stage Fright - the acting was great - I don't think I ever saw Marlene Dietrich in a film and she played the diva perfectly. Same for Jane Wyman who played a complicated character. Alistair Sim - the father - nearly steals the show. Of course it has the genious Hitchcock touches.

Ok - i won't post about every movie watched

but saw "The Last Picture Show" for first time this weekend.

...the theme of the movie (lost innocence, sexual mores) is not my favorite - but that is one damn fine pic. the look of it, the flow, the Hank Williams soundtrack, the acting, Cybill Sheppard nekkid - all excellent.

I saw that was on ABC flipping through the guide last night, playing opposite the first Santa Clause, which was on the Disney Channel. And both networks are Disney owned. I'd think if you were competing against yourself, you'd at least counter-program.

The Dark Knight - Very good movie, but not as great as everyone has said. I guess my expectations were pretty darn high going in though.

That and I don't really like Christian Bale as Batman. The way he talks when he's Batman annoys the hell out of me.

That part isn't Bale's fault, though.

I think the Dark Knight is a downright bad movie.

I thought we figured this out. You walked in on "The Women" and mistook Meg Ryan for the Joker.

but the way people continue to go nuts over it is ridiculous..

and is it just me or did ledger's joker voice sound exactly like andy dick's real voice??
