My favorite play the other night was when DGB caught that screen on the left hashmark and then Tecmo Bowled his way past seven Vols all the way across the field for a TD at the right pylon.

Watching that live, I thought the ref was going to blow it by not getting out of the way.
So does Bauer have to pay back the money Ole Miss gave him? I'm not sure how that works. Encouraging sign though since the 2014 class is pretty terrible on paper so far. There's an unusual amount of good prospects still undecided so Mizzou could really make some noise the next few months and end up with a respectable class.

It took me a shocking amount of time to understand what you were talking about.cardsfansince82 wrote:Watching that live, I thought the ref was going to blow it by not getting out of the way.

I've noticed they've been moving up the recruiting rankings, even before Bauer, because apparently there's a strength in numbers component to those rankings. I guess maybe Rivals and their ilk figure that if you get enough 3 star guys, you'll eventually get some diamonds in the rough. They're 31st right now, ahead of South Carolina, Nebraska, UCLA, Michigan St....cardsfansince82 wrote:Watching that live, I thought the ref was going to blow it by not getting out of the way.

I don't think it's a good class, per se, but I wouldn't call it terrible.

You should have wanted the loss, when it came, to not come to South Carolina. Y'all are still in control of your destiny but now you have to either win out or hope that South Carolina loses to Florida this weekend. A win last weekend and you guys could have started booking hotel rooms for Atlanta.lukethedrifter wrote:I just wanted the loss, when it came, not to come in a [expletive] up way.
I'm not a Missouri fan but it would be interesting to see them make the SECCG in their second year in the league when nobody dreamed they would. It took South Carolina, what, 18 years to appear in that game?

I'm good with it. It's likely going to take wins at Ole Miss and at A&M and if the Tigers do that then they absolutely deserve to be in the title game.

Re: Mizzou football '13
With a full caveat that they could easily go 1-2 to finish the year, rendering this question moot, which would you rather see?
a) Mizzou finishes 10-2, tied with South Carolina, and misses out on becoming the SECrificial lamb to Nick Saban and Alabama
b) Mizzou finishes 11-1, wins the East, and gets obliterated on a national stage by 'Bama
Which of those gives them a better shot at a BCS bowl?
(also acknowledging that they could make the SEC Championship game and play close to 'Bama, maybe even win, etc… but that's not really the question because we'd obviously all prefer THAT scenario)
