I have no idea what to expect. On paper you've got a team capable of shooting the lights out against a hard-nosed defensive team with two bruisers in the paint who love to rebound, so it's definitely a matchup of contrasting styles. I think some are overlooking the scoring ability of Jordan McRae (20, 21, 14 in three tournament games) and Josh Richardson (17, 15, 26 in three tournament games), but it's completely understandable that the Vols have become the Jarnell Stokes show. His tournament numbers thus far: 18 points, 13 rebounds vs. Iowa; 26 points, 14 rebounds vs. UMass; 17 points, 18 rebounds vs. Mercer. He's a monster.go birds wrote:i think tennessee beats michigan

Michigan is a really good team, so I won't be shocked if Tennessee loses, but the Vols are playing extremely well - KenPom rates them as the 5th best team left in the tournament (behind Florida, Louisville, Arizona and Virginia). If nothing else, I'm happy for Cuonzo after he's endured the never-ending love affair our fans have with Bruce Pearl. He deserves some of the criticism that's been thrown at him, but he's a genuinely good guy and it looks like he can thrive if he has the right players for his system.
Ya think?slide_into_first wrote: I think they will have to bring the old school defense and keep the score in the 40's-50's.
