Losing tomorrow puts us 5.5 back of the WC. Our chances of making that up are small. Why risk our ace in meaningless games? Take an extended rehab and ensure he comes back next season 100%.

Oh well. I'd rather root for the Brewers in the playoffs then the Cubs.

This game reminds me of when the Cubs told the Brewers in that series that they were the division champs. I hope we don't lose by 16 tomorrow.

I've made it to two Cardinals games in 2008, this one and the one in Cincinnati where Pujols went to the DL.

For those who didn't watch to the bitter end, the remnants of the crowd got pretty snippy with the Cardinals in the ninth. I half-expected a text message on the scoreboard telling us we weren't true fans.
