The Dark Knight - Very good movie, but not as great as everyone has said. I guess my expectations were pretty darn high going in though.

That and I don't really like Christian Bale as Batman. The way he talks when he's Batman annoys the hell out of me.

I think the Dark Knight is a downright bad movie.

it's nowhere near one of the best movies ever made.. i enjoyed it..
but the way people continue to go nuts over it is ridiculous..

and is it just me or did ledger's joker voice sound exactly like andy dick's real voice??

I was pretty underwhelmed at Ledger's performance. I was expecting something really great and it was just your typical acting (it was good but nothing spectacular like everyone was raving about). Not exactly sure what would've drove him crazy, his role wasn't THAT "dark".

I thought we figured this out. You walked in on "The Women" and mistook Meg Ryan for the Joker.

You're right, we did figure that out. I tried to watch it for real a second time but when I opened the Netflix envelope I found In The Cut inside.

ouch.. in the cut is brutal.. that movie completely ruined what meg ryan once was..

Speaking of Christian Bale, I recently saw American Psycho. As I knew next to nothing of the movie prior to viewing it took me a few minutes to get into it, as in figure out what the hell sort of flick I was watching. Other than I think there was way too much violence as in most films these days, I was surprised to find myself really enjoying it. Good satire.
Now, excuse me, because I have to go return some video tapes.
