He got his ass handed to him. I'll give the guy credit for being able to take a severe beating and not give, but Evans really made it look easy.

Nice to see Vitor Belfort get another KO win. I want to see him get another crack at Anderson Silva. Silva had an amazing KO against him but I still think Vitor can make another run at the MW title.

UFC has come to a contractual deal with FOX/FX/Fuel with 4 in 2012 on FOX. I would imagine that all the fight cards taking place on SpikeTV and Versus now would move to FX with replays and what not on Fuel.

Re: MMA Thread II
UFC on FOX hasn't had very exciting cards to me...and I'm not a fan of the format. I guess I've been spoiled all these years with PPVs.
Anyway...we've got some interesting match-ups coming up soon:
Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit (UFC 143 this Saturday)...I'm actually a HUGE Condit fan, and I've got him winning this fight for the interim welterweight title.
Frankie Edgar vs. Ben Henderson (UFC 144 in Japan)...I think this will be Frankie's last fight at lightweight. Benson is going to be too much to handle for the undersized lightweight champ.
Jon Jones vs. Rashad Evans (UFC 145) finally...if Evans fights like he did against Tito, this could be more interesting than people think. I have a feeling that Jon Jones is going to eventually get caught, and Evans could shock us and pull this one off to regain the light heavyweight title.
And of course, there's going to be Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen rematch...however, I think Anderson blasts through Chael this time, and retires.
Thoughts?

Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller will be the main event of the 3rd UFC on FOX event, winner will likely get a title shot.

Re: MMA Thread II
And Carlos Condit wins the interim welterweight title. Beautiful execution of his game plan.
Nick Diaz can [expletive] all he wants, but bottom line is that Carlos slid out of the pocket EVERY single time Diaz got him cornered. And Carlos was a lot more active in punches and leg kicks.

Re: MMA Thread II
And Benson Henderson wins the lightweight title from Frankie Edgar. Pretty dominating.
I'm 2 for 2 in my predictions so far.
