That was probably one of the quickest 2nd touches I've seen...especially since he was off balance.

I don't think he was off balance. His ability to maintain balance while falling is part of what was so impressive about that.

Zakuani is an all-MLS guy. Best left mid and one of the best scoring mids in the league. Sad injury. You could hear the bone snap during the telecast. It was beyond nasty.

It was sort of about beating a team that hadn't lost in 18 games, making a statement that our defense isn't entirely terrible and defending what is quickly becoming a fortress; but mostly it was about one city rising up against douche hair, and I was happy to be a part of it:

Salt Lake's Javi Morales broken ankle on a bad tackle. For those scoring at home, that makes 3 of the 5 or so best midfielders in the league out for the year from horrendous butchering tackles. All 3 from contenders. Weird and unfortunate for MLS.

Luke Rodgers sucks. Landon treats MLS referees like he's god and they exist to serve him, sure, but he's a better player than Thierry Henry, Luke Rodgers, Rafa Marquez and any other Red Bull player who has an issue. Luke Rodgers is giddy as a school boy to play next to Thierry Henry because only in the bizarro world of MLS is that possible. He literally wasn't even in the same league as Henry when he was at Arsenal. Now they're teammates in big bad New York so Rodgers thinks he's big time. Guess what dude, Landon is big time in this league. He's the best player, the best American, the president of the player's union and if he wants to whine to the refs you're going to have to get used to it. Otherwise take your bull [expletive] british bull dog act back to the second division in England and keep dreaming that you have half the skill of LD.

Landon's ref act is annoying, but if you don't like it, stop him. Don't leave him unmarked in the box on a Beckham corner. That's not gonna end well for anybody.

Edit, btw Luke, the only reason you even play is because your coach is trying to hide Juan Agudelo from European scouts as best he can. Enjoy it.
