Dammit. I was hoping to see what they would run from that "I" formation.

Playing OU is an endless cycle of saying "This is a big series", then "Damn" five minutes later.

Egnew is still on the team? I thought he graduated.

Kind of disappointing to run the ball as well as we have and not have a tighter game. If Franklin had been able to hit a couple more deep passes earlier it would be close. The D line has been a disappointment rushing the passer all year, but otherwise I'm happy with where the team is at. Oh and Ressel needs to get his confidence back.

He had an incredible first quarter and a bad rest of the game. The caveats: his pass protection was poor, the receivers didn't help him out much other than Moe, and OU's secondary is really really really good. He rebounded a little in the 4th quarter during garbage time. I think it was 5 for 6 to start; then 2 for 14; then 9 for 13 to close.

Kind of a mixed bag, and he was far from the only player that had a rough game. He didn't embarrass himself.

Thx JL. I hoped for better. Maybe next year when he has some more maturity.

I'm not terribly worried about it. OU makes a lot of players and teams look really bad. As a sophomore on the road, he passed for 291 and ran for 101 against a defense full of NFL prospects. There's no shame in that at all.
