After the Cards, Mizzou and Blues, this was the house money game for me. It's not the same Texans team as a year ago, but that was a beatdown.
I really wish we'd stop pretending Daryl Richardson is a passable running back. Stacy has shown very good vision and toughness. Richardson runs straight into the pile for a yard every time. I don't even know if Stacy is a good running back, but at least teams have to defend against it when he's in.

Re: Rams and other teams 2013 NFL season thread
im still not sure if the rams are any good...
Houston almost doubled the Rams in total yards, 420 to 216
Even when losing most of the game, the Texans had 153 rushing yards for 5.1 yards per attempt. Foster had a 7.1 average.
4 turnovers and tons of penalties is what made the Rams look so good. Whether that's the Texans just playing crappy or the Rams forcing them into mistakes, I guess we will see how good the Rams are the next couple weeks.
I will say that Bradford did what he needed to do so that was good.

The Texans sure have fallen on hard times. The 2 Houston/Indianapolis battles used to be epic every year but it doesn't look to be as entertaining this season. It looks like only the Titans will give the Colts a run for the title in the AFC South. Of course in the NFL nothing is guaranteed and anything can happen in a 16 game season. The Colts should beat the Chargers tonight. I'll be peaking in on the Indy/SD game during the breaks in the Cards/Dodgers game tonight.Secret Weapon wrote:im still not sure if the rams are any good...

Defense also spent majority of 2nd half on the field due to Bates/Ogletree TD's. STL ran only 6 offensive plays after their 1st series produced the Quick TD. I wouldn't read much into that.Secret Weapon wrote:Houston almost doubled the Rams in total yards, 420 to 216

Bradford is mediocre at best...why they take chances with him in those situations is baffling

Two undisciplined teams-- only Rams get flagged.
