Regarding Heimlich I think its funny how the media gets to play victims advocate when they revealed the crime without getting the consent of the jouvenile victim. Pretty disgusting, imo, but when profit is the motivation you run the story that gets the clicks.

I'll call BS. The media always hides behind that shroud of "Its our duty to report" and it's a bunch of hog wash. Court docs regarding minors are sealed for a reason. To protect both victim and the offender.

The juvenile survivor of sexual assault has the right to confront their past abuse on their own terms. Sealing documents is done IN ORDER for them to have a chance to do that. The media has possibly caused irreparable damage to this young girls rehabilitation AND HAS THE GAUL TO CLAIM THEY ADVOCATE ON HER BEHALF!!!!

Again, did they get consent before stealing away this girl's agency? I Don't think so. I read Verducci's entire long article and I don;t recall him mentioning it.
