Who would have thought that Jordan Walker would be leading a fun Cardinal team this year? I was mentally prepared for an awful season.

I root for the players; not the owners. So I am thrilled to see how the team is performing. Tip of the cap.

Be interesting to see how they do come July. Last years team was in the playoff hunt, above 500 in July and then fell off the cliff.

Regardless of what happens; it’s nice to see what they are doing right now. Even if they fall off the cliff, it has to be considered a successful year.

An interesting thing about our +3 run differential is we're tied for 10th best in MLB.


As of now if we went .500 the rest of the way, we'd have 85 wins.

I was just chatting with my buddies about this (though at the time it was ninth) when he used that as a snarky reply to the Cards' success.

Which if you look only at the NL is sixth or seventh. That's a playoff team!

I don’t know if I would or ever would have gotten along with those shirtless dudes at the game last night, but that was fun as hell. The Cardinals should pay those guys to show up, and also give them rides home as needed.
